Tonight I can share this LP on the African label from 1974. I don't know anything about Orchestre Lipua-Lipua.
By the way, it's wonderful sweet music. Moos at Global Groove already shared some music by this orchestra.

This is a fantastic Album! I rate this among my best LP's! I carried copies of it on casettes, then ripped and burned CD's of it and lately It has been on my all my iPods when travelling... ;-)
AntwortenLöschenCan't get enough rips of this one and I am a totally obsessed "LP-label"- fetishist so I highly commend you on including the Labels from the LP! Nice work. And the K7-rips you present is really protecting an endangered species, they have a shorter expected lifespan than LP's and when in good quality (yes, that is often not the case) but if, they give a little less surface noice than the vinyl. Well I'm not that picky about that I listen mostly to the music and the quality of recording on this LP is great. Hot damn, what a good producer Verckys was!
All the tracks are wonderful! Mombasa and Niki Bue long time favourites
