Orchestre Conga Succès (Decca 71.072)

Two tracks by Conga Succès:
1. Mogo et l'Orchestre Conga Succès: "Semeki Nde Ndeke" (Rumba-Lingala)
2. Alberto et l'Orchestre Conga Succès: " Alberto Siempre Conga" (Indoubil-Lingala)

Both tracks were re-issued on African 360.001, which I don't have.

For the first time I added a cleaned version (on special request). Please let me know what you prefer. Enjoy!

And specially for Rob and for Christmas there is a cleaned wav version added to the Shauri Yako side. I wish you all the best, thank's for following this blog, thanks to all the great bloggers. Merry Christmas and a happy new year! I'll have some free time and hope to resist from blogging until January.

Orchestre Impala - Vol. 7

It's time to share something before we rest for some holidays.

Coming back to Rwanda and Rwanda's favorite orchestra of the 1980s. This is Volume 7.
Enjoy via http://www.mediafire.com/?6tns1fljtlsciml!

Little problem with Blogger: I actually can't insert a link! So please copy and paste. Now it works!

Nguashi N'timbo - Shauri Yako (ASL 3393)

Finally I've got a copy of "Sauri Yako" with Orchestre Festival du Zaire and I'm happy to share it at 320 kbits.

On side 2 the tone arm had a lot to do, you may hear it. Anyway enjoy this wonderful music!

Update: a clean wav-file here.

Burning Spear - Living Dub (PRELP3)

My favorite dub album from one of my favorite reggae albums. When I've first heard this in Zensor's small record shop I felt myself in another world, a world with angels, but another kind of angels than those I knew from listening to music by Bach or Haendel.

Im sure you will enjoy this one! Pay attention to Rico's trombone.

Living Dub was reissued on CD by Heartbeat in a different mix and some years ago in the original mix by Winston Rodney himself (look for "Original Living Dub Vol. 1", it should be available).
