Orchestre Victoria Eleison - Willo Mambo Bis (Veve VV 499)

My second Eleison-Single, which is in the same quality like the first one (technically bad and musically excellent), was re-issues some years ago on a compilation CD which actually seems not to be available.

I hope you can enjoy!

Orchestre Victoria Eleison - Soirée Dansante (Veve VV 505)

Another week - another single. I love Orchestre Victoria Eleison. This single was in very bad shape and the needle of my technics turntable wanted to fly over the record during the first 30 seconds of each side.
It's a find from 1986/87 Rwanda (there were only three records of African origin I was able to find in the whole country over at least three years!)

By the way it's the last cat.-no. I was able to identify for the Veve label.
Enjoy!

The Undivided - Listen To The World

This is 1970s Uk reggae. The Undivided featured Rico on trombone. Rico loved this group (for details see the Jama Rico Wiki here).
I've got a Cd copy by one of my fellow lovers for Rico's music while I was compiling Rico's discography. Nobody seems to remember this LP, you even can't find at The Reggae Archive.
With this rip comes the second LP by the band, The Original Undivided.

Enjoy!

Orchestre Abamararungu - Inanga Y'Amahoro

It's time to come back to Rwanda. A new group apeared in 1987 with a tape calle "Peace zither", inanga is the instrument you see on the cover; maybe they were already too late. Peace vanished during the following years from this wonderful country.
The music is beautiful. Production was made by Jean Uwimana.

Enjoy!

Orchestre Baya Baya - Bumba (African 91.063)

To say that I'm still among the living I have to post something. I'd like to share another African single. Do you know more about Orchestre Baya Baya? I don't. Anyway enjoy the song!
